The Virgo Full Moon will be at 11 30 pm on February 24 (AEDT), at 5 degrees and 23 minutes of the sign. The Sabian Symbol for the Moon in this 6th degree is “A merry-go-round”, the first experience of the dynamic intensity of the life processes, and of the possibility of using them to reach a characteristic ego-satisfaction, an objective approach to life force.
For the Sun in the 6th degree of Pisces, the symbol is “A parade of army officers in full dress”, the dedication of human beings to the service of their community, and the assurance that it will be emotionally sustained by the people at large, group responsibility.
Ceres Mother of the Harvest, will be making an easy opposition to their need for integration, amplifying the previous Venus connections with Mother Earth. Ceres was raised to dwarf planet status alongside the demotion of her brother Pluto, back in 2008, so maybe a power we should reckon with?
The Moon will be squared by Pallas Athena in Sagittarius opposite Astarte in Gemini. Astarte was the most primordial version of Venus known, kind of a merger between Mars and Venus giving her dominion over War as well as Love. Certainly, this will be a time when our values towards Earth and the collective will be challenged, as Pluto starts to assert his energy more firmly into Aquarius.
